This article is welcomed but

This article is welcomed but it takes a curious approach to an important issue. It seeks to find points of agreement and alliance between anarchists and socialists particularly around green resistance but oddly limits its discussion of anarchism to anarcho-primitivism. There are more relevant examples that might have been examined including the efforts of anarchists who have worked to develop green anarchist politics along working class/class struggle lines.

Perhaps the best place to start would be the green syndicalist writings of longtime anarchist and rank and file organizer Jeff Shantz. See for example:

"Green Syndicalism: An Alternative Red-Green Vision."

"Radical Ecology and Class Struggle: A Re-Consideration."
