Bright orange 1 1/2" buttons boldly demand: "Bring the Troops Home Now!" Wear one everywhere to start a conversation about why US occupation can never be a force for liberation, and people's needs should come before the massive military budget.
Produced during the massive immigrant rights demonstrations of 2006, these 2 1/8" buttons read, in Spanish and English: ¡exigimos Paz, Legalización, y Trabajos para Todos! we demand Peace, Legalization, and Jobs for All!

The Obama Campaign
Brother Miah's comments in his article "Reverend Wright and Black Liberation Theology," seem to be to beg the question.
What exactly does he mean by " I believe progressives and socialists should focus our attentions on critically engaging Obama supporters, identifying with their desire for a “new type of politics and direction for the country” — while explaining that Obama is no answer to stop the aggressive wars of U.S. imperialism."
In or out?
No socialist or progressive in their right mind is ignoring the Obama campaign. However, DO HE OR DOES HE NOT BELIEVE THAT we should be be involved in it. The article seems to me to be artfully vague on this, the crucial issue.
Also, how is being involved with the Nader campaign of the Green Party incompatible with "critically engaging Obama supporters"? The article reads to me like a set-up for entry, one more time, into the fetid swamp of the DP.
Well?
